These words from Toby Keith's popular country song reflect an attitude that is all too prevalent in today's culture. Words like self sufficient, self esteem, self image, self worth, self fulfillment and personal choice dominate our vocabulary.
The concepts of self-sacrifice, personal responsibility and considering the needs of another above our own are all but forgotten and dismissed
as outdated. While it is certainly important to take care of one's self,
God's Word teaches us a different set of priorities.
Why not join the Women of
Stockbridge Church of God of Prophecy as we put "first things
first" and proclaim Jesus as Lord of All and the Love of our Lives!
