Seeking, Sharing and Serving

The Mission of the Stockbridge Church of God of Prophecy can be summed up in three words:

Seeking ........ We are constantly seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ for we are seeking His Kingdom and not ours! ("But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matt 6:33)

Sharing ........ The love and the grace of God have been given to each of us freely, thus it is our desire and commitment to give freely to others . ("Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." Matt 10:8)

Serving ........ Each of us that have been redeemed by the Blood have been called to be servants of Christ. It is our desire to serve Him in every capacity. ("For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant." I Cor 7:22)

We, at the Stockbridge Church of God of Prophecy, feel that if we follow the Lord in Seeking, Sharing and Serving, then we can truly show Christ in Action, for we have been called to exalt Him and not ourselves.
